Lately, I’ve been substituting photo shoots for exercise. Each time I head out for a photo shoot, a tinge of guilt kicks in. “the little voice in my head asks, did you do your exercises today? My rationalization is walking in the forest is exercise. Scouting out a photographic moment is exercise. … But today, after visiting the National Geographic museum’s Gecko exhibit in Washington, DC, I was reminded to go ahead and join the yoga class I’ve been putting off. Geckos are invertebrates and are able to twist and turn into interesting positions. Hopefully, with much practice, I maybe able to get in this position. Gallery
